The trip continues to the Rabelados settlement in Espinho Branco. Until the beginning of 2000, the community (Rabelados is Crelo for rebels) was completely isolated from the outside world. This was a sign of the uprising that can be traced back to the end of the colonial era, when Portuguese missionaries wanted to force the Catholic faith on the Cape Verdeans. In a workshop with an artist from the community, you will paint your own small painting.
