Fredson has been working as a hiking guide on «his» island of Santo Antão since 2016. In 2020, he and Melissa went independent and founded the travel agency Santo Antão Tour. Fredson shares his passion for hiking, nature and cooking with his guests. Contributing to sustainable and fair tourism in Cape Verde is of utmost importance to him.

In 2017, Melissa from Switzerland ended up in Cape Verde. It was love at first sight. In 2019, she emigrated to Mindelo, where the trained Swiss travel agent worked for a local travel agency. On hikes together with Fredson, she discovered the island of Santo Antão and then founded their own travel agency with him under Cape Verdean-Swiss management, which works according to fair and sustainable principles. What fascinates her most about Cape Verde is not only the breathtaking natural landscapes, but also the lightness and warmth of the local population.

Nany has been a guide for almost 10 years and has been part of the Santo Antão Tour team from the very beginning. Reliable and confident, he convinces the guests with a big know-how and passion that he shares for his work. He is the agency's right hand in Mindelo - nothing would work without him!

Since 2018 Kevin shares his passion for «his» island as a touristic guide on Santo Antão and since 2021 he is part of the Santo Antão Tour team. Motivated to bring Morabeza (Cape Verdean hospitality) out into the world!

Since Nuno was little, he has explored the surrounding villages of his home on foot. It quickly became clear that he wanted to turn his passion for hiking into his profession. In 2023, Nuno successfully completed his training as a tourist guide on Santo Antão. Since his internship with Santo Antão Tour, he has been an integral part of the team.

Celina was born and raised on Fogo. She is the epitome of the element of fire, which suits the island: always in a good mood and full of energy!

Andy is originally from the province of Lagoa on the island of Santo Antão. In 2015 he ended up on the island of Santiago. He stayed and discovered every corner of the island. The exciting culture on Santiago, such as the Batuk, fascinates him again and again. In 2022 he joined Santo Antão Tour, with the same vision for sustainable and fair tourism that involves the local population.

Joel grew up in Cidade Velha. Always with a warm smile on his face, he welcomes you on our tours through Santiago.

Pina masters every curve or narrow road on Santo Antão with ease. He has been a driver on Santo Antão for many years and is the epitome of calm, always punctual like a Swiss clock.
